Midnight RV Towing on the I-35

RV Towing Needed on I-35 After Massive Tire Blow Out

A couple was in desperate need of an RV towing service when their RV’s tire blew out in the middle of the night on the I-35 in San Antonio. They definitely didn’t have this in their dream road trip plans.  After calling around to all the tire services in the San Antonio area they quickly found that their tire was considered somewhat of an oddball and it was not kept in stock nearby. Once they realised that no tire would be coming to their aid, the couple reached out to Mission and asked for help.

Upon arriving at the scene with a wrecker and assessing the damaged tire, the initial team swiftly decided that their colleagues with a Landoll should be called in to help transport the broken down RV. Should they have used only the wrecker, there was a small chance of damaging the RV and they definitely wanted to avoid that at all costs. Only adding to the complexity of the rescue, due to the late hour and size of the Landoll, it was impossible for an RV park reservation to be made. The RV towing team welcomed the couple on board and drove them to a truck stop just 10 miles away where they could rest for the night and make arrangements for a repair the following day.

It was a successful and memorable night for the RV towing team. We hope the couple were able to repair their tire and commence on their trip! Great job team!
