San Antonio Towing Pro’s Separate Sand Boxes from Trailer

San Antonio Towing Company Goes Extra Yard

Sometimes, San Antonio Towing professionals need go the extra yard…or in this case the extra gallon. We were called when a tractor trailer had rolled over on an oil field water supply line in Yoakum, TX. Things could have gone very wrong. The water line might have become ruptured and work might have had to pause.

Mission was called out to remedy the situation.  We had to be careful as the roadway was pretty narrow. First, we separated the sand boxes from the trailer chassis. Next, we unrighted the tractor and trailer with our heavy wrecker.  Next we attacked the two sand boxes. You can see how we winched them back onto the roadway and put them on our good old Landoll trailer. Fortunately, it was only a short trip to the oil field pad site.  Great job guys and thanks to Richards Towing for being such a great partner.

Details of San Antonio Towing of Oil Field Sand Boxes

A call came in for San Antonio Towing and Mission Wrecker was dispatched to the call. We were told that a tractor trailer had rolled over onto an oil field water supply line.  We sent out our San Antonio Towing team to the site. When we arrived, we found that indeed that water line was in danger of being ruptured. The San Antonio Towing team assessed the situation and decided to use a heavy wrecker. First, we decided to separate the sand boxes from the trailer chassis. Next, we decided to winch out the sand boxes and then lift them onto our Landoll.  The San Antonio Towing team proceeded to follow this plan. Being careful on the narrow road, we used the winch and the boom on the heavy wrecker. First, we removed the tractor and trailer chassis. This meant that we detached the sandboxes. Next, we attached winches to the tractor and the trailer as a unit. The San Antonio Towing team then carefully winched the tractor and trailer upright. We then placed both on a trailer and towed them away. Now, we dealt with the sandboxes.  We supported the first sandbox on both sides. Carefully and slowly we cranked the first sandboxes onto the right side down. Next we unrighted the second sand box. The winch was attached on both sides of the second sandbox. Carefully and slowly we winched it right side up. From here, the San Antonio Towing team placed the sandbox onto the Landoll trailer and drove it one mile down the road to the oil field pad site. Using the boom on the heavy wrecker, we then picked up the sandbox and placed it down. Next, the San Antonio Towing team drove back for the second sandbox. We placed the second sandbox onto the Landoll trailer using the heavy wrecker. We locked it into place.  The San Antonio Towing team then drove it one mile down the road to the oil field pad site.
