I-35 Heavy Towing Occurs Because of Pole

Produce Goes Bad During I-35 Heavy Towing

On I-35 heavy towing occured when an accident knocked out almost every cross member of the frame of a trailer. The reefer trailer hit a pole pretty darn hard. It was full of produce which meant we had to do a lot of unloading and loading…and it was a good thing we brought out our trailer dolly.

Check out the photo how our team stabilized the floor of the reefer trailer that allowed us to get into the trailer. Stabilizing things continue to be an issue as the key to getting the trailer back to our yard was chaining down the axles to hold them in place.

Good job on the recovery of the reefer trailer for the I-35 heavy towing.

Details of I-35 Heavy Towing

Mission Wrecker received a call from Selma, Texas for a recovery of a trailer and semi for I-35 heavy towing. The Mission Wrecker, I-35 heavy towing team arrived at the scene. They found a reefer trailer that had been heavily damaged from hittig a pole. The semi and reefer trailer had hit with such impact that much of the support, the cross members, were all knocked out. This made getting at the produce a difficult for the I-35 heavy towing team. Before, the I-35 heavy towing team needed to stabilize the floor. Once they had done this, they were now able to get at the produce safely. Some of the produce was going bad. Some of the produce was okay. The I-35 heavy towing effort extracted one pallet out. Next they extracted a second pallet loaded with produce out. They needed to remove it with a trailer dolly. The team moved a third pallet. This continued until they emptied the entire reefer trailer. The effort to stabilize the reefer trailer was also difficult. This meant the I-35 heavy towing team also had to stabilzie the axles that were now not able to support the reefer trailer. The I-35 heavy towing team got creative. On the left side of the trailer they used a chain to keep the axle attached to the trailer. On the right side of the trailer they used a second chain to keep the axle attached to the other side of the trailer. I-35 Heavy towing occurred near the following highways. Heavy towing FM2173
Just off of FM2173 heavy duty towing occurred of a damaged reefer trailer. Also, near FM2790 heavy duty towing occurred of the same damaged reefer trailer. Last, close to the exit at Quintana Road heavy duty towing occurred the very, same reefer trailer.
The reefer trailer was moved to the towing yard of Mision Wrecker that is near Selma and is locted in Converse, Texas. Great job ot the Mission Wrecker team on a job well done.
