Transport Weight Reduction and Heavy Towing San Antonio

Construction Equipment Transport of front loader for Heavy Towing San Antonio Team

Our heavy towing San Antonio team helped prepare a 135k pound front loader for a long distance trip last week. The front loader was on its way to Oregon. Due to its immense weight and the highways it had to travel on, the total weight needed to be reduced. This allowed our client to avoid getting a larger overweight permit.

Each tire weighed 5k pounds. The tires were also wide which made the front loader difficult to transport. So, Mission Wrecker removed the two, very large tires. Basically, we used one heavy wrecker to hold up the front axle to take the stress off.  We used a second heavy wrecker to lift the individual tires.

Thanks to Southern Tire Mart and everyone involved. Good job to the whole heavy towing, San Antonio team at Mission Wrecker.

Misison Wrecker was contacted by the Southern Tire Mart to assist on removing tires for weight reduction. We were also asked to reduce the width for easier transport and move things around. Mission Wrecker dispatch contacted the Heavy Towing San Antonio Team to head out and assist. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team drove out to the location. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team walked around the 135k pound front loader and assessed the situation. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team decided to use one heavy wrecker to support the axlel of the 135k pound front loader. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team decided to use the second heavy wrecker to lift and remove the first tire. They would duplicate the process on the second 5k pound tire. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team backed the first wrecker into position. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team pulled the winches and towing cables off of the heavy wrecker. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team attached hooks and fasteners to the axle of the Front Loader. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team attached towing cables from the second heavy wrecker to the first tire. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team then lifted the axle. They then loosened the nuts and bolts holding the tire. Using the second heavy wrecker the lifted the 5k pound tire into the air and set onto the ground. They then detached the cables and hooks. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team then moved the second heavy wrecker over to the tire on the other side. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team attached the towing cables to the tire. Carefully, the Heavy Towing San Antonio Team lifted the second 5k pound tire into the air. They then set the large tire down. The Heavy Towing San Antonio Team then readjusted the front loader to more properly center it. Next, they secured the axles on the left, rear side. Next, they secured the axles on the left, back side. Then, the Heavy Towing San Antonio Team secure the front left, and right side of the front loader. Now, the front loader was ready for its trip to Oregon.
